Carrickmannon Primary School first opened its doors in 1825, and we are absolutely delighted to be celebrating our 200-year anniversary this year! It is a school steeped in history and it holds firm connections with the local community. We have families who have had seven generations through the school and so it holds a very special place in the hearts of many. We have staff members who have worked here for thirty years and have brought their own children and grandchildren through the school. It is a thriving school where the children are placed at the very centre of everything we do, and our numbers are continuing to grow.  Our school is widely known for our warm, family orientated ethos and this is part of what makes our school so special!
